1. About the use of cookies
On our websites we use cookies and other similar technologies. You can choose whether or not to allow our websites to place cookies on your computer. You can change your choices at any time.
1.1 Your consent needed
You choose whether or not to accept cookies on your device. Your consent is required for the use of cookies, but not for those cookies that are necessary to enable the service that you as a user have requested yourself.
If you do not consent to our use of cookies, or if you previously consented to our use and have changed your mind, you can return to your cookie settings at any time and change your choices. You can do this by clicking on the cookie button. You may also need to change your browser settings and manually delete cookies to clear your device of previously placed cookies.
1.2 What are cookies?
A cookie is a small text file that is stored in your browser when you connect to a website. When we refer to cookies in this policy, we also include other similar technologies and tools that retrieve and store information in your browser, and in some cases pass such information on to third parties, in a manner similar to cookies. Examples include pixels, local storage, session storage and fingerprinting.
The websites will “remember” and “recognise” you. This can be done by placing cookies in three different ways:
Session out, i.e. until you close the window in your browser.
Time-limited, i.e. the cookie has a predetermined lifetime. The duration can vary between different cookies.
Indefinitely, i.e. the information remains until you choose to delete it. This applies to local storage.
You can always go into your browser and delete cookies that have already been placed yourself.
1.3 Third party cookie
We use third-party cookies on our websites. Third-party cookies are placed by someone other than the party responsible for the website, in this case a company other than Ophelia Homes Group.
Ophelia Homes Group uses external platforms to communicate digitally, these include Facebook, Google Marketing Platform, Google Ads, Calendly and Pandadoc. The platforms use both first- and third-party cookies and similar techniques to advertise and track the results of the advertising.
A third-party cookie may be used by multiple websites to understand and track how you browse between different websites. We receive information from these cookies but the information may also be used for other purposes as determined by the third party.
2. Cookies on our websites
In order for you to have better control over which cookies are used on the websites, and thus more easily decide how cookies should be used when you visit our websites, we have identified three different categories of cookies. These categories are defined based on the purposes for which cookies are used.
We have identified the following three categories of cookies. In all categories there are cookies which mean that data is shared with third parties.
2.1 Necessary
These cookies are necessary for our website to function safely and correctly, therefore they cannot be turned off.
2.2 Analysis & function
These cookies provide us with information about how our websites are used and enable us to improve the user experience. There are also functions here that allow us to remember your settings, such as language selection, addresses, etc.
2.3 Marketing
These cookies help us and our partners to display personalized and relevant advertisements based on your surfing behavior with us, even when you later visit other websites. Cookies in the category are used for targeted marketing and profiling, regardless of which device(s) you have used. Information collected for these purposes can also be combined with customer and traffic data we have about you, if you have given your consent for us to use your traffic data for marketing and have not objected to the use of your customer data for marketing purposes.
2.4 Cookie settings
We save your choices for 12 months. After that, we will ask you again. Note that some cookies have a lifespan that exceeds these 12 months. You may therefore need to change the settings in your browser and manually delete all cookies.
More information on how to turn off cookies can be found in the instructions for your browser.

Microsoft Internet Explorer

Apple Safari
2.5 Do Not Track signals
If you have chosen to turn on the Do Not Track function in your browser, we will not automatically place marketing cookies on your device. You make other choices in your cookie settings.
2.6 If you block cookies
If you choose not to approve our use of cookies, the functionality and performance of our websites may deteriorate because some functions are dependent on cookies. Blocking cookies can therefore mean that the websites’ services do not function as they should.
